The bullying of academics follows a pattern of horrendous, Orwellian elimination rituals, often hidden from the public. Despite the anti-bullying policies (often token), bullying is rife across campuses, and the victims (targets) often pay a heavy price. "Nothing strengthens authority as much as silence." Leonardo da Vinci - "All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men [or good women] do nothing." Winston Churchill.

Sally,
this is for the words you said during your campaign when you stigmatized anarchists, communists, socialists and troskyists.
It would be better for you to call the organization you lead charitable organization. You don't deserve to call this organization union, because union is not.
Shameful organization without a united future.

RESISTANCE, RESISTANCE!!
DON'T TRUST THE UNION,
WE CAN UNITE!!
GET - UP - STAND - UP
KEEP UP THE FIGHT!
tell us how and when? and I will there.
I do not commend the welsh branch of the UCU.
Enter workplace bullying on UCU's website and you will get a document offering advice. Below is an extract from the document.
Do not ignore it [the bullying]
If you feel that you are being subjected to bullying or sexual or racial harassment or harassment on the grounds of your sexuality, do not feel that it is your fault or that you have to tolerate it. Many people ignore harassment and bullying for fear of being labelled a troublemaker but it is unlikely that the conduct will stop if you ignore it. The bully is often doing this to try and exert control, so silence may be interpreted as acquiescence.
[If the bullying is not linked to sexual or racial harassment then there is no advice from UCU about what to do..........] A question for the conference maybe?
Sally - your own union suggests that silence around bullying may be interpreted as acquiescence. How therefore are we to interpret your silence on this issue? As acquiescence...?

On the UCU website check the list of organisations/campaigns that UCU support. An impressive list.... including Amnesty International which is about justice, fairness and truth.....
What about support for organisations that deal with workplace bullying which is rife in academia....the Andrea Adams Trust for example?
Another question for conference maybe?
In solidarity
