The bullying of academics follows a pattern of horrendous, Orwellian elimination rituals, often hidden from the public. Despite the anti-bullying policies (often token), bullying is rife across campuses, and the victims (targets) often pay a heavy price.

HOW our union fails us - not WHY...

This implies that one has support from one's co-workers. Not a chance! At best, they are indifferent and suddenly become deaf and blind. Often, their reaction is "You must have done something wrong. Why else are they singling you out?" At worst, they collaborate with one's tormentors while masquerading as one's allies.

Come to the conclusion the best thing for me is to train for work in totally different environment. A bully in school stays in school and continues to bully as an adult in school. They don't leave or grow up in mentality or ability. Just continue to look good?? or not and continue to bully with their allies and yes persons.
