The bullying of academics follows a pattern of horrendous, Orwellian elimination rituals, often hidden from the public. Despite the anti-bullying policies (often token), bullying is rife across campuses, and the victims (targets) often pay a heavy price.

While I do not believe any field has more or less academic merit, there can be no discipline with such a propensity to produce ass-hole administrators as the arts! Here we have another fine example of a mediocre practitioner metamorphosed into some kind of academic leader. This particular 'Pied Piper' has all the academic merit of a poodle and less good manners! Why do artists become such bullies as managers! This creature defiles the reputation of my beloved CCAT but at least he is now far away in Plymouth. - Anonymous
