There is no law against it. My school only has a policy excluding sexual harassment but nothing on any other kind. This is not and accident. I tend to think some disturbed faculty excuse it in their minds as an acceptable way to 'eliminate' weak or uncooperative students. They also see it as a way to show how 'serious' they are about their beliefs. If someone act against these bullying bahaviours of their advisors the only stamp those people get is " complaining about their advisors" or "not a team player" or "mentally ill".<BR/><BR/>Where are you all science grad school students?<BR/><BR/>Please post your experience in the blogs. Make others aware of these bullies in universities.
